E-Liquid VG/PG Ratio Explained

What is PG?

Propylene Glycol is thin, carries flavour well, and gives a stronger throat hit. Higher PG e-liquids work best in smaller, lower-powered devices.

What is VG?

Vegetable Glycerin is thicker and produces bigger, denser clouds. It gives a smoother hit and works best in sub-ohm devices at higher wattages.

Common Ratios:

50/50 VG/PG: Great all-rounder. Works in most devices. 70/30 VG/PG: More clouds, smoother hit. Good for MTL and sub-ohm. Max VG (80-100% VG): Huge clouds, best for sub-ohm and cloud chasing.

Which Should You Use?

Pod kits and starter devices: 50/50. Sub-ohm tanks at high wattage: 70VG or Max VG. MTL devices: 50/50 or higher PG for stronger throat hit.
